Q&A
Why should my fiancée and I take Wedding Dance lessons?

Everything you’re planning – the venue, flowers, attire, food, music, and more will be a reflection of your style and personality, and your First Dance should be, too! With all the decisions and deadlines involved in wedding planning, enjoying this time together can help you both de-stress and re-energize, and we guarantee you’ll have LOTS of fun.
Which is better, private lessons or group classes?
Answer from the ownerWe recommend starting with private lessons as they offer personalized instruction, allowing you to progress at your own pace and meet your specific goals. However, a combination of private lessons and group classes is ideal. Group classes provide a mix of partner work and basic techniques, enhancing your leading and following skills. The choice between them depends on your budget, goals, and learning style, giving you the flexibility to tailor your learning experience.

How long does it take to learn to dance?
Answer from the ownerIt depends on how often you come, how good you want to get, and how many dances you want to learn. Learning the basics typically requires just a handful of lessons. Feeling confident enough to dance to any music with any partner usually takes some time, but your progress will depend on your dedication and practice. What type of shoes should I bring to my first lesson?
Answer from the ownerWhen starting dance lessons, it's important to choose shoes that provide comfort, support, and the right amount of grip for the type of dance you'll be learning. Consider starting with ballroom dance shoes. These shoes typically have suede soles that provide the right amount of grip and allow for smooth movements. Ballroom shoes also come in different styles for men and women.
What should we wear for dance lessons?
Answer from the ownerWe realize that some Students arrive for lessons straight from the office, and others may be dressed more casually for their lessons – either is fine. The most important thing is to wear something comfortable, which allows you to move easily. Of course, you’ll also want to select comfortable shoes.
